Gotta en est conscient, mais il faut bien \u00eatre diffus\u00e9 quelque part. Peu importent les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s et les clich\u00e9s, une fois sur sc\u00e8ne, il est seul ma\u00eetre \u00e0 bord. Et c\u2019est l\u00e0 tout ce qui compte. C\u2019est pourtant l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re qu\u2019il a sorti son premier album, Carnets de route. Un r\u00e9cit initiatique sur un voyage de Marrakech \u00e0 \u2026 , qui a pris quatre ans \u00e0 voir le jour. Car dans la vie des artistes qui s\u2019autoproduisent (c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire l\u2019\u00e9crasante majorit\u00e9), la conception d\u2019un album est faite d\u2019impr\u00e9vus, de musiciens qui ne peuvent pas toujours \u00eatre pr\u00e9sents car ils ont d\u2019autres contrats,  de p\u00e9riodes o\u00f9 il faut tout mettre entre parenth\u00e8ses pour remplir le frigo. Un album c\u2019est aussi un compromis entre ce qu\u2019on veut faire, les moyens qu\u2019on a et les exigences commerciales. Sur sc\u00e8ne comme au village<\/strong><br \/>\nSur sc\u00e8ne, Gotta casse la s\u00e9paration entre le public et lui. C\u2019est sans doute sa marque de fabrique. Qu\u2019il soit sur une grande sc\u00e8ne ou dans un bar, on a la m\u00eame sensation de familiarit\u00e9. Une mani\u00e8re de faire qui lui vient de la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, mais aussi tout simplement, de sa g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9.
